MANIFESTO If Art is defined only as an ornament, or a luxury, or an assignment to be completed, then human culture, and humanity itself is doomed. Art is a trigger for raw experience. Art is both hammer and mirror... Art is a tool for growth and a medicine for survival. Art is the warp and weft of the tapestry human existence. Art transcends knowledge. Art affirms the pursuit and communication of truth. Art is accident guided by discipline. Art is the seduction that murders ignorance. Art’s synapses bridge religion, science, magic, and sex. Art is an infinitely long lever for shifting one's own alignment. Art comes not from the self, but flows through the self. Art creates commonality where even mortal enemies may find sanctuary. Committing to Art, is ecstatically hurling oneself into an inferno, with the knowledge that all the other possibilities are even worse. Art eases death. Art brings eternal renewal, awakening, and rebirth. Art gives us strength to survive old pains, and wounds us with new agonies that motivate us to live.
